501

Yesterday was my 500th post, here. I've decided what I'd like to do, in order to celebrate. It won't be a contest, or a video, or me flying to a reader's house for a special in-person appearance (though if you've got the dough and want to make that happen, I'm all ears!).

I've decided I want to record myself reading one of my entries and to post it here. You guys get to pick which one.

If you've got a favorite entry that you'd like to hear read aloud by the author, post its name or the general gist of it (Do that one where that guys shampooed you while you blew him! That was hot!) in the comments here—or, for the many of you who are comment-shy or comment-averse, send me a quick email and let me know which essay would be your choice.

I'm not going to base my selection on a random drawing, or on reader favoritism. I'll just pick the entry that seems to have the most potential. The reader who suggested the one I pick will get some special thanks.

Nothing fancy. Nothing elaborate. And then we'll all keep moving along.

I'll take suggestions until next Friday. Thanks, guys.

  2. There was a post about you asking Scruffy/Scuffy whose boy he was all hot and tender or the one where he begs you to take a picture of your dick in his ass. Either one. sammy bear

  3. One of my top favorites was that in which you as page for the senator from the rural district were made to deliver copies to his office, but I didn't much like that you didn't give any of the details of the sex that happened there between you & the senator & so am hoping that you will finish the story?

  4. "Moments in the Woods" from April 2010. The Breeder at his (your) best. Maybe my comment will (as cyberi4a suggests) allow new readers to check it out.

Mazel tov on the 500th post and another unobserved milestone: 700+ followers.

  6. I second throb919 - 'Moments in the Woods' was the best post I've ever read on this or any other blog. Only thing better than a reading would be a video reenactment! - Bibaltguy

  7. I think this is an absolutely fantastic idea. There is nothing sexier than the human voice telling their story and enticing me in with the sounds of lust, love, and the glowing heart. So, as Travis said, any story will be a thrill to read. But my personal suggestion is the story of "That Sprinkler Guy" where Earl shows up to watch you at the end - it's full of exhilatration, hot sex, intense emotion, and the aura of foreboding you create so well.

  9. Do YOU have some favorites? Probably. Why don't you pick one of YOUR favorites and read that. I think that would be the most meaningful.

  10. Oh darling boy, to hear that voice of yours! My favourite would be "The Fuck-Up" from November 2010.. I love how tender and vulnerable not only about the begining of your season with Spencer but also reflections of lovers past, so sweet with a touch of melancholy..

  11. No Fair. I'm still back in August of 2010.

Based on that though, I confess, my favorite so far is "I've Never Been Touched . . . Down There"

For me, with its the mix of playful humour, and the seductive "bold stares and slow appraisals." it's come to exemplify a lot of what draws me to you and your writing.

  13. Rob,
You know that i cannot choose only one because i love them all. You can do any one of them and i would love it. But the one i love the most was Franco part 1 and 2 and close second was "An anniversary" but you know me very weel, anyone of them would do just fine.

  14. You must read something from your Earl stories. And you must put in all the southern accents and drawls. Perhaps the story of you being bound and (gagged?) and driven to the gas station, for use as someone else's pleasure?

I say "must" as though I have some power to make you do as I want, and of course I can't make you do anything, but I certainly HOPE you will do it as request.

    (Please?)

  15. Congratulations, my friend. You know which one I'd like to hear. :)

Yeah...the one with you and your brother in it. Which one did you think I was talking about? ;)

  16. Congrats!

The Fulcrum would be very enjoyable. Or, one of my favorites was the older southern gentleman whose yard you would mow and you could see him behind the curtains jerking himself. You purposely removed your shirt to give him a better view!

I know you'll only choose one, but I can just imagine hearing the series of the religious guy in the nice car who would drive through the park and then preach to you about how you were a sinner for blowing him.

    Here is to 501 more!

  17. My favorite post, one which I have wasted many loads over is you post about getting impailed in the paper flower warehouse by a married man at the iconic Richmond amusement park.

  18. I find so many great suggestions here and they bring so many fond memories of posts past, I hesitate to make my own suggestion. But I shall. Please read the entry where you and your father went to the campus. You were in a a reverie and found an encounter, right there, with your father by you.
What I think would be most interesting is to hear how your "authors" voice gives way to the voice of a man with his father in a unique situation. I imagine the scene and my own heart starts beating faster. The quality of possible discovery, the very possibility of hearing your voice talk about your father. I guess the whole experiment is one of discovery after all.
I've never heard your voice, but I do consider you one of the people who are important in my life. What a terribly great idea!

  19. The one where the guy couldn't find you house late one night when you had the porch light on for him.

  20. Rob, Congratulations on the 500th post! I have to cast my vote to hear "Conundrum" from Nov. 24th, 2010. In that post you put into words that extremely intense and beautiful intimacy that occurs between to men when one fists the other. You captured what I experience each time my Daddy fists me. I have thoroughly enjoyed all your posts, but that one remains my all time favorite. And to you reading it would be like a little bit of heaven. I know that I will have wood and be dripping. I can't hardly wait. Best regards and Happy Holidays! Jay

  21. Okay, it's been a few days now. What did you decide?

Have you started making your audio-tale? I know, it's not easy, but I'm gonna hold your feet to the fire....let's hear it!
